In 2004, when Moksha Sahasra was just 10 years old, she had a life-changing experience at the sacred Sitaram Bagh Temple in Mallepally, Hyderabad. This event would shape her spiritual journey and lead her to a deeper understanding of life and her higher purpose.
On one of her visits to the temple, Moksha was feeding the fish in the well, as she often did. It was a peaceful moment, one of simplicity and joy, but little did she know that this visit would become something extraordinary. As she threw the fish feed into the water, something incredible happened. From the depths of the well, an ancient and powerful presence began to emerge.
To her amazement, the presence was revealed as a divine serpent with five heads Naga Devi, a revered and mystical deity in Hindu belief. The serpent, a symbol of power, wisdom, and spirituality, rose from the water and gazed upon Moksha with great intensity.
Naga Devi was not just a mythical figure but a guiding spirit for those who sought a deeper connection with the divine. And in that moment, she spoke to Moksha Sahasra. The divine serpent shared a profound message that would shape her life forever. The words she spoke were clear and meaningful:
“You are destined for a higher purpose in this life. Your journey will not be like others, for you are called to something greater. Begin a path of deep meditation (dhyana) and self-discipline (tapasya). These practices will help you discover your true self and the divine connection that lies within you. Through your devotion to Shiva Ishwara and Ammavaru, you will find enlightenment and spiritual growth.”
This divine blessing from Naga Devi marked the beginning of Moksha Sahasra’s sacred journey. It was a moment of realization that her life had a much greater purpose than she had ever imagined. The message from Naga Devi pointed her toward a life of spiritual discipline, self-discovery, and devotion. Moksha’s journey would not just be about physical growth but about awakening her inner wisdom and understanding the deeper truths of life.
Moksha Sahasra took this message to heart and began her journey of spiritual awakening. She committed herself to practices of meditation and austerity, as Naga Devi had instructed. These practices helped her find inner peace, clarity, and connection with the divine. Along her path, Moksha deepened her devotion to Lord Shiva Ishwara and Ammavaru, seeking their guidance and blessings.
The experience at the Sitaram Bagh Temple was just the beginning. Moksha Sahasra's life was now on a sacred path of spiritual growth, one that would lead her toward wisdom, enlightenment, and a profound connection with the divine. Her journey would inspire others as well, as she continued to seek knowledge and share her wisdom with the world.
